Taleggio PDO is a soft cheese belonging to the washed-rind family, made with pasteurised cow's milk. Its thin, soft rind takes on a characteristic pinkish colour thanks to the weekly brushings with water and salt. A cheese of ancient origins, ideal for sharing boards, pasta dishes and fondue in Ho.Re.Ca. kitchens.

Pairs well with rustic bread, honey and structured white wines or young reds. Perfect on a mixed cheese board, excellent melted over polenta or risotto and a star ingredient in traditional Lombard pasta dishes. Its melting paste also makes it ideal for gratins and warm fillings in restaurant cooking.
