Coarse pink Himalayan salt, a rock salt extracted from the ancient mines at the foot of the Himalayan range. Of Pakistani origin, it comes in 2-5 mm crystals in pink and white and is used as a cooking and seasoning salt: it does not mask the flavour of the food it seasons, but enhances it.

Ideal in table salt grinders and in the kitchen to season grilled meats, fish and vegetables. Perfect for salt-crust baking of sea bass or bream, for finishing a cut of beef in a steakhouse, or for dressing a sharing platter. It also works well at buffets and banqueting as a presentation salt.
