Pecorino Romano D.O.P. with a black-cap rind, a hard, semi-cooked table cheese made exclusively from whole Sardinian sheep's milk. Naturally lactose-free, it is supplied as vacuum-packed eighths of the wheel, ideal for the deli counter and Mediterranean cooking.
- Format: eighth of a wheel, vacuum-packed, variable weight approximately 4kg
- Sold as: sold in batches of 4 pieces
- Main ingredients: sheep's milk, salt, lamb rennet and lactic ferments
- Ageing: minimum 5 months, per the Pecorino Romano DOP regulations
- Storage: refrigerate at < 6 °C for portions; shelf life 360 days from packaging

- Origin: Sardinia, 100% Sardinian sheep's milk
Pairs well with rustic bread, honey and preserves on an end-of-meal cheeseboard, or grated and shaved over classic Mediterranean pasta dishes. Suggested for enhancing traditional first courses, antipasti and mains, thanks to its intense aroma and savoury, slightly piquant flavour.
