Frozen wild field poppy leaf rosettes (Papaver rhoeas), a field vegetable from the Apulian rural tradition. After being selected and washed, the leaves are blanched in boiling water, frozen and packed, ready to be cooked directly from frozen.
- Format: 1.25 kg tray in 5 kg cartons, product arranged in three layers
- Sold as: sold by the piece
- Main ingredients: wild field poppy leaf rosettes (Papaver rhoeas)
- Cooking: place the frozen product in a cold pan with 20 g of water, cover and cook over moderate heat for 4 minutes, remove the lid and cook for a further 3 minutes; or cook in boiling water for 4 minutes. To be consumed after cooking
- Storage: keep at -18°C, minimum shelf life 24 months. Do not refreeze once thawed

Ideal as a side dish sautéed in a pan with garlic and extra virgin olive oil, or as a base for rustic soups and broths. It pairs well with pulses, sausages and local cheeses, and features in traditional Apulian country dishes as a field vegetable served warm or pan-tossed.
