Deep-frozen wild chicory of field (Cichorium Intybus), flash-blanched in boiling water after selection and rinsing, then deep-frozen and packed. A rustic-tasting vegetable, ideal as a side dish or base for warm dishes in Ho.Re.Ca. kitchens.
- Format: 5 kg carton with 1,25 kg tubs, each divided into three layers

- Main ingredients: wild chicory of field (Cichorium Intybus)
- Cooking instructions: place the frozen product in a cold pan with 20g of water, cover and cook over medium heat for 4 minutes; remove the lid and continue cooking for 2 minutes. Cook from frozen and consume after cooking
- Storage: keep frozen at -18°C, up to 24 months. Do not refreeze once thawed
- Allergens: none present; produced in a laboratory that also uses mustard
- Origin: Soc. Agricola Spirito Contadino De Palma, Borgo Tressanti (FG), Italy
Ideal sautéed in a pan with garlic and extra virgin olive oil, served as a side for meat or fish mains. A staple of Apulian cuisine, it pairs well with broad bean purée, sausage or toasted bread. Also suitable as a base for soups and rustic vegetable tarts.
