A cream based on Castelmagno DOP cheese (30%), a semi-hard cheese made with a double curd-breaking process. With its creamy, spreadable texture, it is ideal for dressing gnocchi, risottos and pasta dishes, enriching timballi and filling pizzas, bruschetta and crostini.
- Format: 400 g tin (capacity 425 ml)
- Sold as: sold by the piece
- Main ingredients: Castelmagno DOP cheese (30%) (raw milk, salt, rennet), water, cow's milk curd, butter (milk), emulsifying salts: polyphosphate and sodium citrate. Gluten free.
- Storage: store unopened in a cool, dry place for 24 months; once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 2-4 days
- Allergens: milk and derivatives. May contain traces of egg products.
- Origin: Italian DOP cheese; milk of Italian origin
Pairs well with potato gnocchi and risottos, where it releases the characteristic bitterish aftertaste of Castelmagno. Suggested for presenting fondue in the Piedmontese tradition, for filling gourmet pizzas or for enriching warm timballi and crostini on Ho.Re.Ca. menus.
