Spianata piccante, a pure pork cured meat: the minced meat, blended with pancetta, is milled and salted into a single mixture, filled in synthetic casing and left to season. It has the characteristic flattened shape, an intense red colour and a spicy, pleasantly spiced flavour.
- Format: flattened sausage, thickness 46 mm, length 370 mm; variable weight, approximately 3kg.
- Sold as: sold in packs of 3 pieces.
- Main ingredients: pork meat, salt, natural flavourings, dextrose, smoke flavourings, flavourings; antioxidant E301, preservatives E250 and E252. Non-edible casing.
- Storage: from +1°C to +4°C if vacuum-packed.
- Allergens: contains no allergens listed in Annex II to Reg. EU 1169/2011; gluten-free and free from milk derivatives.
- Origin: raw materials from countries of the European Community; produced in Buttapietra (Verona), Italy.
Pairs well with rustic bread, focaccia and aged cheeses on a mixed charcuterie board. Thinly sliced it makes a perfect Italian-style antipasto, while diced or sliced it tops pizzas and gourmet sandwiches in food service. Excellent served with a glass of full-bodied red wine.
