Mackerel fillets (Scomber scombrus) in sunflower oil, produced in Italy by Renna. The mackerel is defrosted, steam-cooked, filleted and marinated with spices and aromatic herbs until it reaches a pH below 4.4. A ready-to-eat product for hospitality use.
- Format: 2 glass jars of 2 kg
- Sold as: sold by the piece
- Main ingredients: mackerel (Scomber scombrus), sunflower oil, water, wine vinegar, sea salt, sugar, parsley, acidity regulators and preservative (sodium benzoate)
- Storage: transport and store between 0°C and +8°C; shelf life 6 months; once opened, keep refrigerated for 7 days covered in oil
- Allergens: fish; possible cross-contamination with crustaceans, celery and molluscs
- Origin: produced in Italy (Renna S.r.l., Fasano)
Pairs well with toasted bread, boiled potatoes or fresh salads, and works to enrich pasta, rice or couscous dishes. Traditionally served as a seafood starter or side, it is also ideal for sharing platters and cold buffets in catering.
