Red onion petals coated in a soft, delicate tempura batter made with Nero di Troia wine, prepared entirely by hand and pre-fried. A frozen product ready to regenerate, ideal as finger food, a starter or a tasty side in hospitality service.
- Format: 1 kg bag, case of 5 x 1000g
- Sold as: sold by the case of 5 bags
- Main ingredients: batter (water, Nero di Troia wine, soft wheat flour type 00, durum wheat semolina, maize starch, salt, potato flakes, brewer's yeast), red onion 26%, sunflower seed oil
- Cooking: deep-fry in plenty of oil at 175°C for about 3 minutes; bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for about 10 minutes (turn halfway through); air-fry from frozen at 200°C for about 6 minutes
- Storage: 24 months at -18°C; do not refreeze once thawed and consume within 24 hours
- Allergens: contains gluten and sulphites; may contain crustaceans, milk, soya and mustard
Serve hot and crisp as a starter or among aperitif nibbles, accompanied by yogurt-based dips, flavoured mayonnaise or a cheese dip. Perfect on a mixed fried platter, as a side to meat mains or to enrich a finger-food buffet.
