Pairs well with rye bread, pickles, gherkins and mountain cheeses; ideal sliced very thinly for starters, mixed charcuterie boards and finger food. Traditionally served in South Tyrolean cuisine as part of a Tyrolean snack, accompanied by a glass of aromatic white wine or a light red. It also works well rolled onto breadsticks or used to enrich gourmet pizzas and welcome bruschetta.
